Here at PMI our certified pre-owned Volvos are hand picked by the owner and go through a rigorous 150 point inspection that EXCEEDS the mechanical and cosmetic standards of the original manufacturers Certified and Pre-Owned policy.  

We offer an array of extended warranty options to choose from based on your driving habits and needs.  In addition, our extended warranties can be used at any dealership or repair facility across the USA. No games, no gimmicks.

In summary - every PMI vehicle must pass stringent measures before it can become a PMI Certified Pre-Owned Volvo.  Only well-maintained, late-model Volvo vehicles are considered, and each one must pass a comprehensive 150-point inspection and a Vehicle History Report review. Virtually every mechanical system-from the engine to the door locks-is checked.   In addition, a thorough appearance inspection scrutinizes fit and finish-inside and out-to ensure that every vehicle upholds the Quality and Reliability of the Volvo name, and the reputation of Performance Motoring Inc.

OUR 150-POINT VEHICLE CERTIFICATION CHECKLIST INCLUDES:

VIN INSPECTION
1. Vehicle VIN plates match, engine compartment, door jambs and dash
2. Perform VIN inquiry and status check, perform applicable recall or campaign repairs

UNIBODY INSPECTION
3. Carefully inspect unibody for signs of damage or prior repairs

MECHANICAL INSPECTION MINIMUM REPLACEMENT ITEMS
4. Engine oil and filter (with genuine Volvo filter)
5. Air filter (if dirty or at service interval)
6. Brake fluid (if discolored or at service interval)
7. Floor mats (replace mats if missing or damaged)
8. Wiper blades (replace if needed)
9. Coolant (replace if discolored or at service interval)
10. Tires (based on tread depth measured and condition)
11. Disc brake pads (measured/replaced if needed)
12. Brake Rotors (measured/replaced if needed)
13. Brake shoes/Calipers/Hoses/Hardware (Checked for wear/damage/compromise-replace if needed)
14. Antenna mast (if bent or sticking, if applicable)
15. Automatic transmission fluid (if discolored or at service interval)
16. Differential fluid (if discolored or at service interval, if equipped)
17. Rear differential fluid (if discolored or at service interval, if equipped)
18. Minimum one master key, one valet and one remote (if equipped with OEM remote)
19. Scheduled Maintenance - Nearest scheduled maintenance will be performed if within 3 months or 2500 miles of service interval or if no record of service exists
